We have dedicated Christian volunteer tutors teaching the English language to non-English speaking students. Volunteers are needed for several areas. Call 251-661-7111 if you are interested in taking classes or helping teach.
Diapers Through Discipleship
This program provides parents with a way to obtain assistance in caring for their baby's physical well being while providing encouragement for their own spiritual needs. Our goal is to give families the opportunity to learn about Jesus through Bible studies and counseling.
Diapers through Discipleship is always in need of diapers and wipes. We appreciate any donations given for this ministry.
Operation Christmas Child
Ministering to the needs of children in desperate situations around the world, sharing Jesus with them. Volunteers are needed the first of November to gather and prepare the boxes for shipping.
Christmas Store
Demonstrating the true meaning of Christmas by providing gifts to children who would not otherwise receive them. Volunteers are needed to gather gifts, set up the store, wrap, carry gifts to the cars, witness to parents, and care for children while the parents shop.
If you haven't received assistance from our Christmas Store in the past and have a financial need, you are invited to apply for this program. Contact our church office at 661-0114 beginning November 1. Applications are reviewed based on need and availability of assistance.
Food Pantry
Volunteers needed to aid in distributing food to persons coming to the Community Missions building on Tuesday and Friday, from 9am-12 noon.
Back Pack Ministry
Provides supplies for students in need. Volunteers needed to gather supplies & distribute them.
Applications for assistance with school supplies are taken through our Community Missions Office in June. Call 661-1299 on Tuesday and Friday from 9am-12 noon for more information. School supplies will be distributed at the end of July to those whose applications are approved.
