Wednesday night meetings are for ages 3-12. AWANA is a Bible centered curriculum that exposes children to the Gospel message through Scripture memory, Bible study, awards and team-oriented games. Workers are also needed to listen to children recite Bible verses. At the end of the AWANA year, an awards celebration takes place for those children who have completed their books and met other goals.
Cubbies - Preschool
In Cubbies classes, your preschooler will receive a book that contains activities and Scripture memory verses. By working the book at home and in class, your child can earn awards and patches for their Cubbies vest (available for purchase through the church office). The memory verses are presented at a level that is easy for 3 and 4 yr olds to understand.
Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Sparks handbooks are firmly grounded in Scripture. The three handbooks include a chronological walk through Scripture, details about Bible characters told in captivating biographies, and an increased emphasis on Scripture memory. The curriculum takes kids a step deeper into God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Truth & Training - 3rd through 6th grade
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Each of the four Truth & Training handbooks include Bible studies and activities that allow children to delve into the subject matter. Children will also learn about missions to help them learn how to see the world through God's eyes.
